Malic Acid

Has any one tried Malic acid for the fibro. I heard that helps a lot for the pain.

My doctor put me on it about a month ago. It's called Fibrocare and is both magnesium and malic acid. He also said my B12 was low, but not below normal and still put me on the sublingual B12. I bought the Fibrocure at his office. If you want, I can give you his number and they can probably ship it to you. I am feeling better but I know it takes awhile to work. He has fibroy himself and has treated over 10,000 patients, so I'm confident he knows what he is doing.

Yes I would like to get his number. Thank you

His office number in Canton, OH is 330-498-9865. Hope this helps! I think the name of it is actually fibrocare. I gues it was wishful thinking in the original email.

I have been taking Magnesium Malate sold by NOW vitamins. I bought it at the health food store suggested by my doctor.. Its not too expensive and I saw a difference right away in how i felt. I had to take it with a bunch of other vitamins though so I take a digestive enzyme as well and that keeps my stomach from hurting. If you find it hurting your stomach look into an enzyme they do work.

I use a magnesium and malic acid supplement every time I feel a flare coming. It limits them to a couple of days at most. Years ago when my symptoms were disabling, I took it daily and I believe it helped get me back on my feet.
