lymph node swelling
3 Replies

Is anyone else experiencing swollen/painful lymph nodes? Is this typical with fibro patients? My rheumy seemed concerned and suggested biopsy but none of my lab was indicative of lymphoma or myeloma and CT scans didn't show anything suspicious either. I just know my neck, arm pit and groin nodes are tender and enlarged. Does anyone else experience this and does it go away? Thanks, Lotus

I too have a what they call "borderline" lymph node in my armpit. I just joined this forum today. ..I did see someone also talk about 'rib pain'...which is really
a Major problem for me...I have asked and talked to many doctors who just think I am crazy...I get lumps along the ribs and PAIN...a scan does not show them......Please, excuse me tonight, this has been a very long day. I am so excited to have found this forum so that I can learn everything about FIBRO..because I have to have someone understand and "Validate" that the PAIN I have is ...REAL. It seems only the lymp node in my left armpit is my problem....sorry I can't help you with info...but I will be back and hope to follow how you handle your problem....
I hate to repeat myself...but you will never know how excied I am to find this forum and look forward to the knowledge I will gain from all of you.

By my left arm pit, but the pain spread into my chest and ribs, but sometimes my right one hurts too. It's been going on for 3 months now, hopefully it will go away. Try a heating pad that seems to help. Good luck.
