Alison Parry - October 16

I have FMS. For the last 2 years I have had lumps on and around my ribs and tummy.(under the skin, some are hard and some are soft.)They become very painful at times.

Hi Allison. This sounds like Myofascial Pain Syndrome. This also comes with Fibromyalgia. Some people have just Fibro then others have both. I have both and I too have lumps around my ribs and tummy area. It makes it pretty sore. Look up on the Internet about Myofascial Pain Syndrome to educate yourself on this condition and what you can do. Most times a physical therapist will work on these nodules as they are called to release them and yes it can be painful. I can not get them released around my ribs. You may have other areas affected. Take care.

I have a large lump on the outside of my upper leg. It isn't that painful but doesnt disappear and has been there for a couple of months now, GP checked it out and was puzzled... I appeared while I was experiencing bad pins and needles as well as weird vision

This lump on your leg could be a calcium deposit, check with your doctor.

I get these too, only they are on the outsides of my elbows, then i get an itchy rash and sometimes fluid comes out of it? any clues as to what this is?

Hi Andrea. It sounds like eczema or some sort of dermatitis. I would see a Dermatologist for a diagnosis.
