Why dont you ask a doctor? Since you have had back surgey I would say it is more likely to do with that.

Hi Peggy: What type of back surgery have you had? It has been stated in the Internet sights about trauma causing a form of fibromyalgia but the only way to know would be to talk to a Rheumatologist about it and mention to him or her about the back surgeries to see if that would be the cause of your pain or if it is the surgery itself causing the pain and discomfort. But for any reason you need to get help with the pain so at least you can sleep so your body can repair itself. The humane body is amazing in what it can do and so many things can go wrong and nobody knows why at times until one day something happens and the answer becomes clear. I hope you start to feel better and do ask your doctors about this and please let me know how it goes.
