Lecithin

ibritz - October 16

Does anyone use lecithin? My daughter was looking on line and found this. I will check with doc before I try it. It is a soy by-product. Sounds hokey to me...

Phosphatidylcholine, also known as lecithin, is involved in liver and brain function and has recently been designated an essential nutrient. It is particularly recommended for senior citizens with memory impairment. I use it to combat fibro-fog. I would not recommend the liquid version - nasty stuff. For the best deal on phosphatidylcholine, I use Puritan's Pride (www.puritan.com). They often have "buy one, get two free" sales. It is listed under "Neuro PS" on their site. I've used it for a couple of years. Fibro-fog, mercifully, is not a huge issue for me but I think this sruff does help. Enjoy the weekend and take care.
