Hello ladies,

I haven't been on a while, trying to stop my research for a while, because it is driving me crazy.

I got all of my results back from the MRI's (lumbar, brain & neck), EMGs (upper and lower), bloodwork (ANA, and other lupus things), heavy metal toxicity and bloodwork.

Everything was normal except for the following:
Low Vitamin D
Low B12

So I am being supplemented with those in addition to a regular vitamin.

I was taking this vitamin One N Only by Pure Essence. I can't post the link but if you google: pure essence lab and then click on womens. Then one N Only. You will see all the various herbs included in this vitamin. I started researching on the herbs and it says a lot of strange things and I am wondering if they might have been contributing to my symptoms.

Anyway...just praying the vitamins will help. Soooooo frustrated from the traveling burning throughout my body. sign

Thanks for letting me vent.

My symptoms when first started was burning all through my body and of course muscle aches..I literal that I was dying and no docter knew why..I finally went to rhemutologist and he diagnosed me with Fibro and of course told me it was a chronic
disease but not fatal...I wanted to kiss him but just cried from relief..I started to get better because I no longer thought I was dying and the stress level went way down..burning is DEF.a symptom..try to second guess..that makes it worse. Hope that help...

mustangsh -

Thank you so much. You are right, it is the second guessing, it is the constant researching trying to find something else...

Thank you for listening. I appreciate it.

Yeah, along with the fibro is the anxiety and the researching heightens the anxiety. I know, because my anxiety is sooo bad, my husband believes I'm a hypochondriac. I would suggest that, if you must research, research the reputable fibro sites only. Look at all the tests and exams you've had and take heart! The fact is they're all normal. You just have fibro.

This dis-ease really can be a battle of wits. I find the only control I have over Fibromyalgia (FM) is knowledge.

It can be disheartening to learn all the facts and figures of FM, however, it is not fatal and not degenerative. The more research I do, the more I can keep on top of the ever-changing information available about FM. So little is really known and researchers and doctors are starting to ask important questions to understand it. The more I read the more I understand the physiological mechanisms that aggravate my FM. The more I understand, the better able I am to deal with them.

I checked out the Supplement you mentioned; it looks good. There is a lot in it though and having FM generally means we are more sensitive to what we put in and on our bodies.

For example, Green Tea is a very beneficial drink. It helps to cleanse your blood, calms an irritable stomach, and tastes yummy. For most people it is harmless, but for me it is a disaster. It gives me heart palpitations and raises my blood pressure. For all the good it did for me (especially with my IBS) it might as well have been poison.

Don't despair. We are approaching the crest of the mountain that is FM. We are so close to finding information to unlock the mysteries that surround it. I don't just research my FM on Fibro sites. I research every medical journal, every research journal I can in order to find out what kind of studies are being done.

I will even go so far as to email the researcher who did the study and provide my input on what was done. I think it is important for me to make my case available to any researcher who will listen, even if it only helps one person, that's one less person suffering with this invisible dis-ease.

I wish you luck in finding the right equation that works for you.
