This question is better addressed as a new thread rather than under the flu shot discussion.

Yes, I believe that there is a correlation between mold, allergies in general and Fibromyalgia (FMS) pain.

I base my opinion on personal experience. I see a doctor who is a functional medicine specialist. This is an MD with a strong background in holistic medicine. Typically they run tests that a regular physician will not even consider. One of the tests I took was the Elisa/ACT test which is a simple blood test. You can find the information about it online. We can not post links on this site.

At the time, I was experiencing terrible pain in my legs. We thought that it was coming from my back as I also have degenerative disc disease. The Elisa/ACT test revealed that I have quite few allergies. None of them were giving me overt clues like rashes, hives, vomiting etc but they were triggering my immune system.

One of the items was #5 green food colouring. As it happened, the food colouring was an ingrediant in the shaving gel I used every day. Essentially, I was posioning myself without even knowing it. Once I jettisoned the shaving gel, my leg pain improved significantly.

Therefore, I believe that your pain issues and the mold in your home are related. I hope that my comments are useful to you in some way. Take care and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
