donna, ocala, fla. - November 18

right side of top of skull very sensitive and movement causes quick pain and scalp tenderness. it's always in the same spot. rubbing and pushing is semi painful and pulling of the hair makes the soreness in that area better. On and off for almost two years. CT scan last week was normal. Should I ask my DR. for a MRI?

I would bring this up to your doctor. This I haven't heard of until now. The CNS is very complicated mechenizm that sends signals to every part of the body. You may just be having a signal malfunction with the lack of some of the neurotransmitters that are required to send out the right messages to your body. Ask your doctor or Rheumatologist about this.

I have this problem only its with the left side of my skull, I feel like i've been wacked on the side of the head with a mallet and in that spot my hair is all tangely and not growing in right. :shrugs: your not alone, I would definetly ask for an MRI.
