Is sugar a factor??

Hi I recently sorted out a good diet and supplement paln and was feeling quite well for a few weeks. However, I lulled myself into a false sense of security and was feeling so well that I actually thought that I could act like a normal person and eat what I liked! Heaven forbid! As a result I am now back to square one, crippled with pain and feeling depressed. I did eat a lot of sweet things and I sense that the sugar really does aggravate my FMS. A lesson learnt the hard way! Does anyone else have this??

I find that artifical sweetners are a real trigger for my symptoms. It doesn't matter if it is Splenda, Sweet & Low, or Equal. They are alll bad for you and certainly set off a flare for me. I don't seem to have the same reaction with regular sugar. But, I have modified my diet significantly. More protein, less junk food and no pop. So far so good.
