Is it still FM if I don't have symptoms everyday?

Hi Everyone! I haven't been diagnosed with FM yet(I'm waiting for the referral to a Rheumatologist to come through), but I have many of the sysmptoms of FM, plus a lot of other things ruled out. Today, however, I feel really good--almost no symptoms, maybe just a tiny ache (neck, upper back, arms) which I don't really notice if I'm busy. Does that mean I may not have FM? Or that it is getting better/going away? Does FM go way eventually? Are the "tender points" always tender with FM? What if I have a symptom free day or just very mild aching when I go to get evaluated by the rheumatologist? I'm afraid I won't get an accurate evaluation if I have a symptom free day on the day I go.

This is why sometimes you will hear people talking concerning waing or waining or flare-ups. Symptoms vary from day to day, the last 3 weeks my hips and lower back have been unbearable. For a moonth before that it was my neck shoulders and upper back.
They test your tender points by using a certain amount of pressure.
