Could fibromyalgia effect my voice?

joanne - December 8

yes it can, because of the muscles in your throat, i have have had a feeling of a lump in my throat which after a visit to my doctor and hospital confirmed it ws probably linked to my fibromyalgia. However, i would get it checked out with your doctor, for peace of mind more than anything else.
take care

Yes, Fibromyalgia can affect your voice, make you sound hoarse but anxiety can also affect your voice along with other similar conditions. I would still tell your doctor about this because he/she might want to look further into other posibilities.

what is larengitise?

Yes, I have found myself becoming hoarse and even losing my voice briefly. It is embarrassing when you are talking and then suddenly you become hoarse and can't get the words out.
