Is it all in my head??

How many of you have been told that it's all in your head?

After two years of trying everything l could think of, l've now begun looking at the mind / body connection. I've started to see results as far as movements go in as little as 2 sessions and was wondering whether anyone else out there believed that their minds have somehow caused their FM??

Generally speaking when people say, "it's all in your head" they mean that the person is imagining illness and sickness that does not exist which is quite disturbing to someone who is ill. The mind/body connection does not generally say that. What it says is that the mind can be used to overcome illness in some circumstances. Stress makes all illness worse, even schizophrenia, so if you find a way to reduce your stress level you may see a reduction in your symptoms. Some mind/body theories state that the brain has been injured in some way and can be retrained and again that is quite different from saying that the mind caused the FM because the brain and the mind are two different things. What do you mean by movements? Let us know of your progress and which program you are using please.
