Ena, Lyme comes from a tick, it's a bacterial disease, that can be treated, that is if it's diagnosed and treated appropriately. What you are refering is probably the fact that someone who has Lyme disease have some of the same symptoms, such as generalized fatigue, muscle and joint stiffness, swollen lymph nodes ("swollen glands"), and headache. When left untreated, with time passing, the effect on the body, takes it's toll, the bacteria speads quickly through the body, subseuently, joints, hearts and nervous system can occur.

It does resemble fibro, for the mere fact, that fibro patient have joints problems, we also have fatigue, stiffness of the joints etc.

Lyme is acquired by a tick, as for fibro, it's your own body who is turning against you, pretty much the same as artritis.

I hope this enlighten you.
