I have recently been diagnosed. I am strugling to get used to it at the moment as I am finding symptoms hard to deal with. I have jumpy restless legs as soon as I sit to rest. I also have mucus running down the back of my throat causing a persistant cough and horrible taste in my mouth. i also find i need to pass urine frequently and as a result I sleep on the sofa to be close to the toilet. HELP. WOT CAN I DO

You taking any medications? There is OTC mucus medication called Mucinex. RLS(restless leg syndrome) can be treated with a dopamine agonist medication such as Requip(ask your doctor for it). And overactive bladder can be treated with Detrol LA(ask your doctor for it).

Dellybelly, what medications are you on for the fibro? I agree with Noca's advice with getting these things so you can get a good nights sleep. Sleep is one of the biggest factors with Fibro.
I to wanted to welcome you to the site! Feel free to post anytime, and know your not alone.

Hi Dellybelly - I'm so sorry that you are having such a hard time with all of this. I think all of us, at one point or another, have felt like you do. This illness can be very frustrating and make you feel very alone at times. But posting and talking to people on this forum will help you to not feel so alone. We all understand what you are going through.

Have you talked to your doctor about the problems you are having? your doctor should prescribe you medications so that all these terrible symptoms can be easier to deal with.

In my opinion, you should be taking an anti-depressant, sleeping meds, pain meds, and vitamins. And any other meds that can ease your symptoms.

Take Care, Stacey :o)
