How to be sure of a diagnosis?
PeacefulBeach - September 24

There is NO blood test, MRI, CAT-scan, X-ray, spinal tap, DNA test or other lab test that can tell me beyond any doubt that I HAVE Fibromyalgia. But each of those tests CAN tell me what I do NOT have.

So no matter what you might read, hear, or have others insist is true -- do not settle for a "cookie cutter" answer to your problems. There is no "ONE ANSWER FOR ALL". Get examined by a medical professional and get tested for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Lyme, MS, etc. Keep asking questions until you find an answer that "fits" YOU.

After many years of personal experience, tons of research and talking to thousands of people, I know being diagnosed and treated for this thing called "Fibromyalgia" is complicated and won't happen overnite. Learning everything you can is the ONLY sure thing.

Warmest wishes for each of you on this journey with chronic pain or illness,
PeacefulBeach
