I was looking at the fibromyalgia cures. The 5 easy steps that was advertised on here. I don't want to pay if it is no good.

See my post on "Does a gluten free diet help" from 08-01-2008. Enjoy your weekend.

I have just started using Zymitol, an enzyme, and magnesium malate, purchased at health store. The pain is much less. Energy is not great but better. Still not sleeping (restless legs) without pain meds, but 2 a day is better than 10, I figure.

I have been doing Muscle Reactivation therapy and have found it extremely helpful. It has relieved the pain and stiffness in my neck and hips so that I can sleep better. I have to go every 3 weeks but the benefits are worth it.

I also found calcium magnesium helped to give me a clear mind. I take other vitamins but CalMag really makes a difference.

Keep them coming I am writing them all down. I will try the ones you have suggested. I will hit the store after work today. I go for a colonoscopy Fri. If all is well there the doc doing it actually said
" Have you thought of Fibromyalgia?" I could not believe it I finally found a doc that believes!!!!!!!!! I hope she can refer me to a doc that believes and will treat me. I feel like I have not cleaned my house in 1 1/2 years.

If you are looking for a doctor in your area that is FMS friendly, try the National Fibromyalgia Association. They maintain a list of physicians that are known to treat fibromyalgia. As an alternative, you could call your local hospital physician referral service and ask them. They may also know of a support group in your area that could also provide you with the name of a fibro friendly doctor. Take care.

Here are the supplements that I have tried that have helped. Sublingual B12 with folic acid for energy, Malic acid to control muscle twitching and cramps, Calcium with magnesium and boron is also a very good muscle relaxant, L-Theanine for anxiety, and melatonin for sleep. Take care.

I think a total life change is sometimes needed. Our bodies are telling us that we are not treating them properly, they are the product of our lives. Therefore take responsibility for your diet , excersise and stress levels. Of course you could try different suppliments if you have long-term stress you may have got depleted but one of the main things is to eat loads of fresh organic fruit and veges. Cut out all the bodies toxins..alcohol, sugar, wheat, tea, coffee and drink loads of ionised water and DON'T WORRY as acid thoughts also make us toxic. It is a life journey to becoming more aware and healthier. All the best, Angela

There is a product that worked for me. It's expensive, but it was soooo worth it. I'd had FM for about four years and the usual failer to find any relief from the pain. The only time I wasn't in pain was when I was in a hot bath. In April last year I decided to try Paths (they have a module called "Fibromyalgia Release). I stayed on it for about four months - and I haven't had the symptoms come back since! Now I'm sleeping well (hadn't slept for more than an hour at a time with the FM symptoms), and only wake up once or twice in the early morning - and then get back to sleep quickly. If you want to check it out, the website is: and then click on Products, then "All Products" The Fibromyalgia one is near the bottom of that page.
Hope that helps. xxx
