GALLBLADDER TROUBLE

Hi there!
Does anyone know if Fibromyalgia can affect your gallbladder? My doctor suspects that I have gallstones, and I was wondering if this could be related to fibro.

As far as I know, no. But I also had mine removed in college. That's around the time the fms started becoming prevalent but I had not clue back then that it existed. Did he test the functionality of you gall bladder? Mine was at 14%. I never had any pains until a month prior. Also, more and more people are getting their's taken out but docs can't figure out why they quit working. The youngest in my town to have one removed was 12 and that's not common. No gallstones though.

My mom and my older sister both had theirs removed.

When I was 18 I started experiencing horrendous pain because of my gallbladder. I was eating too much fast food, greasy stuff full of crap and no nutrition. I did a little research and concluded that my gallbladder just couldn't process it. When I stopped eating that stuff the pains went away.

I do have fast food now every once in a while but certainly no where near the once-a-day I was before.

I have always had Fibro, so maybe there is a connection. But I'm not sure if it's a connection based just on Fibro and the gallbladder or the fact that Fibro means all our processes function differently (I would put money on the latter).

My guess, based on my own personal experience, is that the increase of nutritionally deprived fast food has inundated our gallbladders with crap it can't take and while there may be no gallstones, it just doesn't work properly.
