Foot pain and burning
1 Replies
Rhoda - February 11

Has anyone else had problems with pain and burning mostly on the ball of the foot and the tendon where the foot meets at the toes? I've been to every type of doctor, tried every kind of treatment, insole, or medication, and still no relief. Sometimes they don't hurt too badly and other days, they are killing me. I can only wear Skechers, (but not the ones with gel insoles) which isn't so bad, it's just that they don't go with dressy clothes or dresses (especially like weddings, etc.) Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have experienced foot pain as well. Though mine is more like a burning all over the soles of my feet. I was just looking this up on the internet and came across a condition that sounds a lot like what you are describing. Stay on this site and do a search for: Mortons Neuroma. I will probably contact my Dr about the foot pain. In the mean time Some suggestions I have found for dealing with it are: cooling lotion, Memory foam Slippers, and of course pain meds such as Ibuprofen, and anti-inflammatory meds.
