FMS and the Tyroid Connection

It may not give us a cure, but may help us, make a connection.

I have read that the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal glands is dysfunctional in FMS, it would seem the dysfunction affects many of the body's regulatory systems.

Dr. John Lowe, Director of the Fibromyalgia Research Foundation, believes that many of the symptoms of FMS are due to inadequate thyroid hormone regulation. Your thyroid gland may be producing enough T4 and T3, but your tissues may not be able to use them properly.
