do any of you feel that you have flare ups almost every day? I used to have a good day and a few bad then a few good days but now it seems few and far between for a good day, I know that they say that Fibro can't get worse but I sware mine is!!!

I was thinking of posting a similar thread. I dont seem to get any'flare ups' at all, all of my symptoms have remained almost constant for about a year now. I dont think mine is getting any worse but it certainly is not getting any better, just stays the same. I hope yours is not getting any worse for your sake

Hi Amy, I haven't had one good day in three years, so no, I don't have "flare ups". I hope you get more good days than bad. Chris2

Hi Amy
"Flare ups" are a normal part of the progression of this disease for me. I too have good days - and bad days. My pain, numbness, and twitching even seem to rotate (places on my body) from day to day. It feels like a parts of my body are just tired of reporting pain – so a new parts takes over. I don't know if there are various types of Fibro - but mine has been progressively getting worse for the last 8 years. My "bad" days now greatly outnumber my "good" days.

By flare ups do you mean inflammation? I have severe inflammation in my ribs...was told it is in the cartilage of my ribs...which was told it was costochondritis. I'm not sure what I have but it's VERY painful and I'm not sure what to do or where to go at this point. I need a doctor that knows what the heck he is talking about... Frustrated and in pain every day....ugh.
