It is possible. When my pain started it was in my left arm, first the elbow then the whole arm and has progressed over the last year and 8 months. The pain can start anywhere, I have a friend that has only headaches and another friend that had it start in her left leg and has progressed. I would talk to your GP and would get a recommendation for a Rheumatologist. I hope that it isn't FMS. If it is we are here for you, take care and God bless!!

To tell you the truth, that sounds alot more like Myofascial Pain Syndrome. Most definitly the result of a trigger point referring pain to these places. The reason I say ths is because I had rt-sided chest pain referring down the arm for a year and finally an MD told me to check out websites on Myofascial Pain Syndrome, which can be co-related with fibro. You can google "Trigger Points" and it will tell you all the areas and the pain symptoms associated with them.
