Fibromyalgia & other problems

I don't want to be the bad guy here but when we have been diagnoised by a comptent doctor and are told we have fibro it's such a relief to finally find out that there is something that causes us to feel so bad. However, after saying this, we can't blame everything that happens in our lives both physically and mentally on Fibro. This is when we can lose our credibility. This can also be harmful because we may not seek medical attention on a condition that might not be part of fibro.

Beverly you are so right. You can't blame everything on Fibromyalgia. It is said that it takes a long time to aquire this illness, you just do not get it like today for example. There are so many other different conditions out there that mimic Fibromyalgia and those conditions need to be ruled out before a final diagnosis is established for Fybromyalgia and the other related conditions that come along with it. That is why everyone including the doctors get frustrated, we all need patience to find the truth of our illnesses.
