Fibro or RA which is it?

My scalp feels inflamed, feels swollen? It really scares me. On the back of the head area the nape is swollen and hurts if I touch it. I've had a headache for 3 days, very little sleep. My husband was upset; I was keeping him awake. NOT BY MY CHOICE, I WANTED TO SLEEP JUST AS MUCH AS HE DID. I've noticed I clench my teeth. Does stress bring on attacks? My headache finally went away. I’ve noticed I feel very tired. I feel like could sleep like a baby! I'm not taking any meds. I have no medical health insurance so I suffer! Any advise? I’d be grateful.

Yes, stress can cause problems with your health. Diet is also a factor, eat more healthy foods, stay away from caffiene, sugar white food such as bread corn, potatoes, etc

I have had FMS for 9 yrs. The only way they can diagnose you is to palpate your trigger points and do a Sed. Rate for RA. FMS & RA do mimmick one another. I have a lot of headahces as well - including migraines that make your scalp and neck sore and they also make you very tired. Rest as much as you can, but, keep moving. Walking is the best form of exercise. Also, (This is very inexpensive but it works great for me!) Soak in Epsom salt every night and rub youself down with Aspercreme (About $5 at Walmart) and buy yourself one of those heat packs filled with rice that you put in the micro wave called a Bed Buddy (About $10 at Walmart). Also, take a magnesium supplement (Walmart around $4). Try these and see if they help. Stay away from caffiene and sugar as they aggravate FMS. Sounds like you have TMJ (teeth clenching which can also cause headaches). You can buy a mouthpiece for that at Walmart as well. Not sure how much they are, but, cheaper than the dentist. FMS makes you so tired and its hard to explain to others but it's real. I am praying for you right now.
