Fibro Fog or Alzheimers

Is Fibro Fog similar to alzheimers. How do you know it's not alzheimers when you have fybromyalgia what's the distinction?

I think they have a test for Alzheimers. I believe they are different.

I find that I get fibro fog on my worst days. I read once that if you know you are having memory problem it is not alzheimers. That statement still does not quite the fears. Fibro fog for me comes and goes. Some days I can not remember what I did 2 hours ago and some days I am ok. This is very hard because I always had a good memory. But fibro fog makes me feel very stupid. My family has learned to adjust and it is quite funny sometimes.

I lost my short term memory with this fibro fog. It does make you feel uneasy. Family will notice it before anyone else and then your co-workers if you are working. Some days memory is good and other days I seem to forget. I make notes so I can remember, it helps.

I heard as long as you can draw a circle and put the clock numbers 1-12 in the right places, you don't have Alzheimer's! It's a test they give those patients to help in diagnosis.
