fibro and sports

Hi

Can anyone give me some advise on the best way to deal with sports.
Before fibro i was extremely sporty playing golf, tennis and going to the gym. Its driving me crazy that i cant do these as often as i used to. I still try and have a game of golf or the odd game of tennis but i really suffer afterwards and have to put on a brave face whilst playing(and the excuse list i use for why i can,t is running short)

Thanks.

I feel for you. I have always workout and jog and all that and now I just take a walk. It is hard to deal with . I miss the ole me when I would wake up, throw my shoes on and head out the door running.
I don't know what you are telling yor friends but I think you just have to tell them the truth why you can't go play golf and all like you use to.I know I had to tell my best friend why I don't hangout and go shopping, walking, etc as much as we use to anymore.I still go now and then and end up like you ,suffering afterwards if I over do what ever we go do. Goodluck and Im like you, Refuse to give up completely.Got to keep moving somehow or we end up on the couch and lay there. Thats not how I want to spend the rest of my life
