Feeling cold

Heidi - September 23

Do people with Fibromyalgia feel the cold more often? I often have slightly blue fingernails and am told by my doctor this is common with Fibromyalgia.

I think so. My temperature range is 80 degrees to be comfortable. although it also depends on age with hormonal changes.

From what I have read Heidi, it is more common to feel cold rather than hot. I am the opposite. I have had FM for just 10 years and am well controlled on my meds but at the moment I am holidaying in the tropics and am amost insane with perspiration. I must have sweated an ocean in the 6 weeks we have been here and sent the electricity bills sky high! I hope there is someone else out there who has this problem too as you say Heidi it seems more common to feel cold.
I am way post menopausal, so is not related to hot flushes or medications as proven by onset in the tropics. Hope you have some relief. God bless

I have read that peoples thermostat is all wonky if you have FM. I know mine is. I am always either overly cold or overly hot. Rarely am I just right, and it drives me nuts
