I still push and try to do the active things but it when I do it takes me days to get back my energy (if thats what you can call it) . I tried to claim disability but couldnt get .My husband works but only part time as he help allot around the house he does all the shopping I dont really go out that much lately just can't be bothered.I just wondered if other people are the same.

Hi Rosalyn:
I think that from time to time all "us" fibro patients beat ourselves up for not being the best of the best. Missing important things in our lives and other's lives because we just ''''' can't """".!!!
You may be surprised as to how your family may be feeling about the situation.
You may think that they have missed out on alot but somehow loved ones seem to adapt to the enviroment of Fibro.
It is extremely difficult to accept that we are no longer as as agile and able as we used to be. Acceptance is a big part of fibro and sometimes I think that I am there and other times I am very angry at this dispicable disease.
Hang in there it seems that you have a wonderful family.
Try to do something on a daily basis so that your body organs don't become lazy and also we all need to exercise our brain to try to keep it from going soft. Try to be the best you can be for the that day and with that will come your rewards.
Wonderful husband, great kids......you shall be ok.....take care...
