I recently joined a gym and let me tell you.. I have felt better than I have in a few years.. I am not over doing it.. about 20 mins cardio...25 minutes resistance weights.. I have more energy and not so fatigued.. I avoided excercise for a long time because of my pain.. but Im realizing that the more i move, the better I feel.. I wish you all the best of luck and if you can, get up and get to the gym !!

Argh. I avoided exercise before the fibro! I know it's the best way to stave off symptoms, but I hate it! I just don't know how to get motivated. Help!

I was the same way... I have plenty of exercise equipment at home, as well as dvd's, but i never had enough motivation to use them for very long.. My motivation was joining a health club.. this way.. i feel obligated to go because I am paying for it.. Plus it gets me out of the house and active.. Just start slow.. work your way up.. you can do it !!...I promise you will feel so much better.. good luck !
