Dry mouth. . .not from medication

I have been experiencing a lot of dry mouth lately and it can't be from the meds because they are the same as they have been for months now. Does anyone experience the same thing?

Actually, it could be from your medication now that they are established in your system. However, I would make an appointment to talk to your doctor about this problem just to be sure there is nothing else going on. Take care.

Curios. Because I could not find dry mouth under the symptom section on this site. I was wondering if other people suffer from this or perhaps it is IBS related.

i get the same symptoms, dry mouth and dry eyes. I have fibro, Raynaud's and RSD

Any anticholinergic medication can cause dry mouth. For example tricyclic antidepressants can cause dry mouth. Just drink a lot of water and use the occasional Halls.

Yes, but I have been diagnosed with Sjogren's syndrome. If the dry mouth is persistant and you're 100% sure it's not the meds ask your rheumy if sjogren's is a possibility. There's a lot of newbies here so keep in mind that most people who suffer from fms also have some type of autoimmune condition. Most get the fibro diagnosis first then are later diagnosed with an immune disease. For me it's also lupus...a triple whammy but I'm still hanging in there. Good luck!
