Hi is it just me or does anyone have blood blisters in their mouth caused by fybromalgia?
I can go for a month without one but other times i get several a month. Once they burst they are quite painful, I am worried as not sure if its something contagious or just due to fybro. I dont seem to be able to get an answer from the docs so not sure what to do next.

I have mouth sore as well. They don't happen as much as they use to...but when I get them they are painful and makes it so I don't want to eat.

Gargling with part water and part peroxide helps make them go away a little faster and stay away longer. Watch your intake of acidy foods which can irritate them. Take care. Sonja44

as far as the blisters go, is your mouth and lips ery dry and sore?. Because right before I was diagnosed w/ fibro, I deeloped varicella zoster virus. It is the same virus as chicken pox and also cause shingles but Ii developed in and around my mouth. It is caused by stress, trauma & compromised immune system. All the same things they say triggered the fibro. I would recommend lokking it up and seeing if that is it. My dentist and my ENT diagnosed it. Not my primary doctor.
