Do you experience head sensations?

I have been experiencing strange head and face sensations, for example a fluttering feel, numbness and tingling, burning sensations and some headache discomfort. It is not unusual for me to have these sensations in my extremeties, neck back etc... but the head and face sensations are new. I had a neurologist appt. last week. She did a routine nerve test, balance test etc... I had lots of blood work done which I do not have results yet, and tomorrow I have a MRI scheduled. Does anyone else have these symptoms? I had a MRI done eight years ago, and it came out clear, now I am afraid the test may show signs of lesions pointing to MS.

I have the same sensations in my head and face. They are just another part of the FM. The burning is the worst for me. It makes it very hard to concentrate.

I have had all those feelings and more. Was tested for MS (2 years ago) and still see my MS specialist but no lesions have appeared so far. Fibro/MS have a lot of the same symptoms. Good luck on your MRI.... Brandy

Like you i have strange head sensations sensations. It usually starts as a buzzing in the back of the skull. Then my head throbs and have a hard time hearing, like i was standing next to a bomb when it went off. When i start to feel "better", i have a ringing in my ears and i find that i am very sensitive to light for a few hours. Then i have tender spots on my scalp for the rest of the day. This usually happens during high stress times, which seem to be a lot lately. some of the more minor occurrences of strange sensations involve pain in my temples, eye fluttering and facial twitches.
