Different kind of pain
1 Replies
Myriam - July 26

Hello there, I was wondering if any of you is able to point out the different kind of pain our body feels? Let me explain:
My fibro pain is widespread, achy, and a little deeper at the joint. However, for the past 3 weeks, I have pain experiencing shooting pain in my right wrist, below my thumb. It hurts at rest and even more when i grip things. The pain also reaches my thumb. I think I have a condition called the DeGuervain's disease. But how can I tell it is not my fibro freaking out?

Hi Myrium, it might put your mind at ease to know that i get that all the time particularily after a late night. deep pains in the larget joints but then i get lightning pains (as i call them) down my arms, in my wrists, thumbs and some times my grip is weak. my Drs used to call it arthralgia but now it seems it just part of the fibro. also get it in my ankles and toes...

hope this puts you at ease.

Mel
