Has anyone found a link between drinking alot of Diet Coke and having FMS?

WOW unfortunately I have been a DIET COKE-addict since day one....and never thought of the connection--do you know anything about this or is this just a personal theory--I'd be interested in hearing about this!!

i've read dozens of personal stories of people having their symptoms exacerbated by aspartame or acesulfame-k (artificial sweeteners) as well as by MSG. (and lots of foods, but that's another story). i think it's worth giving it up for some months and see if you get any better. i haven't really used either much, so i don't know personally, and the research on the effects of artificial sweeteners and flavourings, or food, on fibromyalgia are very scarce. i suppose it isn't as lucrative to research as 'potential fibro pills'. anyway, do try, many say it helps.

I end up with terrible migraines and more FMS symptoms after eating or drinking anything with aspertame in it.

Yes, caffeine and sugar.

I am not a diet coke drinker or anything with aspartame or fake sugar and I suffer from FMS.

Aspartame and caffiene, they are bad for this condition.
