If I were to get diagnosed with fibromyalgia, does that mean I can't work ever again if I'm on disability? Does it mean that I won't be able to switch health insurance companies and may not be covered b/c of my diagnosis? I'm looking into my options I can barely work. I'm only 22 and things are looking hopeless for my future.

Here is a website for you to read about the laws of disability. http://www.social-security-disability-claims.

You can still work if your able. If you qualify for disability that is great for you. If you start back to work SSD will continue to watch you and by my understanding continue to pay you up to the amount they SSD is giving you. When you pass that up then they will reconsider your disability but you can still stay in touch with them throughout the whole process.
