Diagnosed with Vasculitis

My podiatrist said this was a per cursor to a connective tissue disorder, and said I should be checked and that I may not even have fibromyalgia. I'm not trying to scare anyone but, I know for a fact I have something else with this. I have hives all over my back and it's not an allergy, if it is its to my own body. I'm so confused.

Hi Andrea: Vasculitis is a inflamation of the blood vessels acording to my dictionary. It would be best to see a Internist about this problem. There are tests, if this is what you have to determine it thus getting the proper treatment for it. Yes, it does seem to have the same type of symptoms as Fibromyalgia so it would be best to rule this out or rule out the Fibromyalgia. The sooner you get this accomplished the sooner you'll be on the right treatment and then you won't be confused anymore. Take Care and have a Happy Holiday.
