Has anyone ever tried colon and/or body detox to see if their symptoms improved? Some literature states toxinx built up in your system for yrs can cause a lot of fibro symptoms. Also, has anyone had hormonal levels tested and what did they test for?

Yes, I get treated at the Fibro and Fatigue centers and adjusting the hormonal imbalances is one of the first things they do. They gave me a 18 page report on hormones that I didn't even know I had. Cortisol (adrenal hormones), T1, T3, T4, T3reverse, (Thyroid hormones) estrogen, progestrone, testorone, memory hormones, too many to remember (funny!). Their website will tell you what hormones to get checked for and it wil also explain why your thyroid tests may appear "normal" when in reality it is very much out of balance. Look for the clinical tab for specifics on this as well as info on toxins.

I did a "partial" detox. It helped, would have had greater results if I finished. Spring is the time for detoxification. My doctor just sent me a very interesting article on detox and toxins, you can read it also on his website. Look for the March newsletter at www.spineboy.com/newsletter . I think this will answer your questions.

I've just started doing Organic coffee enemas. You can "Google" that and Fibro and see that it is recommended by many. Have only done one so not much to report. It detoxes the liver and produces natural Glutothiones (rec. for FMS). I'll let everyone know if I think it causes any improvement.

Hi Jean, I have a friend that has been doing two coffee enemas a day, one morning and one at night. She has been doing this for several months and feels great. She notices a difference when she doesn't do it. She is also amazed (still) on what comes out!!!
