Could my symptoms be fibromyalgia?????

I wake up almost every morning with aching in my knees hips back neck and shoulders. The pain is so annoying I usually can't get back to sleep. I also have been suffering from endometriosis for 5 years and depression.Could the aching be fibromyalgia?? If so could it have any relation to the other conditions I am suffering from? And what is the best treatment for it, if that is what it is. I just heard about cymbalta, does this help??? P.S. I am only 28

The best place to start is to see a rheumatologist. There are many things that have similar symptoms. Your symptoms sound like they could be Fibromyalgia, but there are a lot of other things that could be causing them, too.

It sounds familiar and a Rheumatologist can let you know. Also a psychiatrist is good in handling antidepressants which help the fibro but I'm also read the SSRI's make it worse so talk with your doctor and see what will work for you. There is no set treatment plan it is a one on one. Good Luck and hope you feel better.

Sara: I have had FMS for 9 yrs. My medical doctor diagnosed me immediately with it and he also checked me for Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Personally, I would start with a Rheumatologist since you have so much going on. I truly believe there is a connection with hormones and FMS. Praying for you.
