for 3 years i have suffered w/chronic back pain. it is in my kidney area. i have had mutiple kidney stone procedures done and still have many small stones left. i have been told that my chronic pain is due to these stones affecting nerves and causing chronic pain. recently i have been having pain in my ribs and when bewathing in. it hurts to touch my ribcage. my right hip also bothers me. sometimes i cannot fles my leg out. could i have fibromalagia. when i go on thursday should i bring this question up?

Its possible! My chronic pain started on the right side of my face & my rt. flank area. The dr thought it was post herpatic neuralgia from a shingles outbreak I had, but the pain I felt has deeper than the skin. I told him I thought it had to be something else. Then when I started hurting in my left hip, both hands & feet, lots of headaches & what felt like a bladder infection he sent me to a rheumatologist.
