Chostochondritis and Fibromyalgia?

I was wanting to know if anyone else with Fibromyalgia has had Chostochondritis? I have seen 10 Dr's so far in a year and a half and still no real diag.. I was just told today that the pain that I have been having in my chest, for the last month and a half, was this virus. I read online that this can also go along with Fibromyalgia. Also has anyone else been experiencing, what feels like, electrical shock inside? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The Dr. put me on Prednisone for 2 weeks and it has taken the pain away, for now at least. It is viral but it also goes along with Fibromyalgia. It is a swelling of the sternum and the ribs. It can and probably will come back but a low dose of Prednisone will help with the swelling and pain. I know how bad he hurts. It feels like a really bad pulled muscle. I hope that this helps him and he gets better. Please let me know. Take care and God bless!
