I have went to emergency many times thinking the chest pain might mean a heart attact only to find I was perfectly normal. It's usually brought on by stress of anxity. When this happens now I just relax and tell myself it's just the fibro junk acting up. Once I get myself past the fear of a heart attack it goes away. Sometimes I put a hot pack on my chest to help relax. However, if you haven't been dianoised by a competent doctor you should seek help immediatly.

I too had chest pains. That's when I first went into the emergency room thinking I was having a heart attack. After tests and EKGs, they found nothing wrong and was diagnosed with Fibro. My doctor told me that the chest pains were just a symptom of my Fibro.

Please do check it out. I put off checking my chest pain because I assumed it to be related to the fibro, and I did have an arrhythmia - which is not dangerous if treated, but could have caused other problems if I'd let it go too long. The beta blocker for that I'm now on did increase my fatigue for a few weeks, but I have far fewer instances of chest pain and shortness of breath.
