Question: My 15 daughter has very bad chest pains. what can I do. She can't sleep and she's driving me crazy. I can't help her. She has been sick with Dematomyositis, Fibromyalgia, She blow out both her knees. She has a very painful ankle that is swollen and no body knows what that's from. And countless other problems. How can I help her.

This is very difficult. I am sure you have seen a doctor but in the case he/she hasn't helped her to this point it might be advisable to seek another physician for a second opinion.

I feel for you. My advice would be to see a Rheumatologist, they would be able to help you more than a GP. It may be Chostochondritis which is swelling in the sternum and ribs. I had this and it feels like a really bad pulled muscle. My Dr. gave me a prescription for Prednisone, which took the pain and swelling away, within a couple of days. Here is the website http://www.answers.com/topic/tietze-s-syndrome. I hope that this helps. Take care and God bless!
