Can you draw on your skin?

Can anyone tell me if they experience this? If i run my finger along my skin, particularly on my forearm or legs, after a few moments it comes up white. It is sensitive enough that i can actually write words on my skin. Ive noticed that when i'm experiencing what i call the crawlies (an over all unexplained feeling of itchiness, tingling, pin-pricks and twitching that is rather like being crawlled over by ants) it is even more visible. Is it just a weird fibro phenomena, or is there something i could do about it that might help the crawlies too? Thank you.

i believe it is called dermatographia or something similar. check a dictionary, it can explain it better than i can. a book i read listed this as a frequent component of fibromyalgia

A member of my family has that and it is histamine that is out of control. My family member uses per doctors prescription zntac and zurtek together which helps to keep it under control. It can go away but it can also stay.

Thank you for your help, tried a antihistamine last night, seemed to reduce both symptoms a little. I'm so grateful to finally have found this site!
