Hello, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last month. I leave in London and the weather has become colder with a lot of rain lately. I am not sure if it is a coincidence but since the weather has changed I feel much more pain everywhere. Can the weather have an effect in the pain?, thanks a lot all

Hi: Sonia Yes the weather effects your Fibromyalgia. When its to damp and cold or very hot and humid.Best thing for you is to take warm to hot bath and put some epson salts in the bath.Buy a rub called O24 or Fibromyalgia O24 .You can buy it from your local health store or the order it from the internet. If that does not help you them try Asper cream.Good Luck.I Hope you feel better soon.Sincerely Debra.

Hi Sonia! I have the same trouble...when the weather changes, I have bad flareups. I use Aspercreme and I'm on prescription strength ibuprofen. It definitely helps...also a heated blanket really soothes the pain. Good luck.

Yes weather effects me I can tell when it is going to rain or turn cooler within 2-3 days before it hits.
Caution on the 024 I was sent a free sample and used it as directed it was very stong smelling! I had to shower and put my clothes outside until I could wash them the next day. If you have sensitivity to odors or have birds or cats be very careful!
Jessie I have used aspercreme with excellent results! Having my pain meds helps also.
