I donated blood and after a day from blood donation i got pain around hip joint and shoulder joint and after one year from blood donation i have been diagonised with fibromyalgia.
Please suggest whether blood donation can lead to fibromyalgia.

I don't know how it could unless the experience was very stressful (i.e., life altering stress) to you. If you are sick following a blood donation and that is the cause, then all I can think of is that your needle was contaminated in some way, but that definitely would not be FMS!

Have you read the menu topics on this sight or checked Web MD. They both give you alot of information on Fibroymyalgia. I very much doubt giving blood would cause Fibromyalgia, it is much more complicated than that. If you start having other smymtoms see a Rheumatoligist..

I don't think so when I went to give blood I found they would not take mine because my levels were down at the time.
