bladder/UTI infections

sandra926 - October 13

I am a 69 year old woman with moderate fibromyalgia. Usually I can manage with large doses of motrin.

Latey (in the past 4 years) i have experienced several occasion of bladder infections which affect me differently than most women. For example, I do not experience burning or urgency. I have some pain in my lower right quadrant, then I develop shaking, chills, sever aching and pain, nausea, vomiting, loose bowels, and high fevers (up to 103). The symptoms do not subside until I go on antibiotics, and then it takes quite some time.

I am wondering if my severe symptoms are the result of my fibro. and if anyone else experiences the same thing.

Thanks, Sandra
