Best type of bed for Fibro
4 Replies
Geoff - August 4

Hello
My girlfriend has Fibro. Her biggest area of pain are her hips and legs. We are gettting ready to buy a new bedroom set and I was wondering what sort of mattress would be best for her. Are there onesmade for fibro or pads or anything really.

Thank you

Geoff, I'm currently just using a memory foam mattress pad and in the cold months I use a bed warmer pad on top of that. The combination of the two makes sure I'm not shivering and clenching my muscles or laying on tender spots. Good luck!

I just bought a tempurpedic adjustable and it has been wonderful. It is the deluxe which is softer than the classic. My body molds right to it and I can adjust the feet and/or head. It also has several massage levels. It costs alot $3600 for a full size but has a 20 year warranty. It has been well worth the cost.

So the memory foam mattresses work the best? I've often wondered that...seems to make sense :)
