Benzodiazepenes in the treatment of pain

Benzodiazepenes such as Xanax, Klonopin and Valium, I've found to be really good at relaxing your entire body thus reducing pain. Anyone else use them? They are good for PRN use. It's not good to use them everyday as you'll develop a dependence on them. Using them every once in a while doesnt hurt though :) Just don't drive or operate machinery till you know how it affects you.

Hi Noca. I just joined this site last night, my user name is mdevore3. I have used both Xanax and vallium. I got some relief. I have also used Skelaxin and Flexeril with moderate results.

Recently my doctor put me on Tizanidine HCL. This is used to treat muscle spasms in MS patients as well as other uses. I'm having really great results but don't plan to do much. You will be sleeping for at least an hour or two. zzzzzzz
