Back Pain & Numb Toes
2 Replies
chefbeth - November 6

Hello from Chefbeth...two weeks ago we went to the golf driving range and I hit some balls. The next day, my back was hurting. As it turns out it is the Latissims Dorsi tendons in my back rib. I have been on heating pads for two weeks and the pain has only gotten worse. The past two days my left toes are numb. What to do? I just took 1/2 of a muscle relaxer as a last resort. I don't like taking the stuff, but I'm desparate. Numb toes? Could this be nerve from the back pain? In order to get to the physical therapist, I have to see the ortho again...yuk. p.s. I may be changing careers. Am waiting to hear about a potential job opportunity that pays well and doesn't involve long days standing and lifting.

Beth - Numb toes does not sound good to me. You need to get into the ortho again ASAP. Call Monday and tell them your toes are numb and have them fit you in right away. It could definitely be coming from your back.

Good luck with the potential career change. I hope that works out for you. Try to relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Take care.
