Anyone have Sensory Processing Disorder as well as FMS?

Anyone have Sensory Processing Disorder as well as Fibromyalgia? I am going to the hospital because I am extremely ill and in so much pain that I can no longer take care of my self let alone function in society right now. I am going to ask the doctors about possibly screening me for this neurological disorder which I seem to have many of the signs of. Stuff that it would be hard to catch as I wouldn't have complained and focused on these symptoms during previous doctors appointments due to being overshadowed by my depression/anxiety.

Basically I think all my senses are on overdrive and amplified way more than a normal person for the exact same stimulus.

Describe your symptons

Also known as sensory integration disorder and is common in people with autism. I am sensitive to noise, odors, light, movement, touch and electromagnetic frequencies. I believe it is due to depleted adrenal glands and involves the fight, flight, or freeze response. Some theorize that it also involves the amygdala in the brain. The Gupta programme addresses this with deep breathing, meditation, visualization and a thought stopping technique. For me gravol and clonazepam decrease it but so does good sleep.

Noca, sorry to hear you are having such a rough time. Hope you can get some help at the hospital! Let us know how you are doing and if they can find anything to help you out. Wishing you well.
