Use humor to cope. There is humor in forgetting. For example, you may be one of the few people that can reread a novel and be surprised read after read by how the story unfolds. Find the humor in fibrofog and learn to laugh at it. Having the ability to laugh at your little mishaps, like where you misplaced your tube of toothpaste, will help others accept your lapses as well. Remember, it's not Alzheimer's that you have, if you're aware of your forgetful ways.

I just had to laugh. Hubby and I spent all of 30 minutes or more yesterday looking for my egg timer. I still haven't found t and am just hoping my son borrowed it.

I enen blamed the doctor yesterday for making me aware that I too suffered from fibrofog. Luckily she just laughed.

Love it, Lacey! You gotta laugh! It's good for you!

The other day I was on the phone with a friend, and took a big bottle of thick protein shake and juice out of the fridge. I took the top off, and put it on the counter, then reached for a glass. In that instant, I forgot….

So, still talking to my friend, I picked up the big bottle and gave it a few giant shakes before pouring it. I noticed that with each shake the big bottle seemed to feel lighter….

That was because I had taken THE TOP OFF, and with each giant shake, I was flinging this sticky goo all over my kitchen!

Well… that took a while to clean up…..
